The Ulster Cricketer website has been revamped and the new site has gone ‘live.’
As part of a new-look website we are promoting a business section which will highlight the value in dealing with cricketers in business and particularly finance, insurance, real estate, sporting services, IT Services and legal. The importance of dealing with business people you know and trust is paramount in the modern world and at the same time these businesses can market themselves where they have already an established contact.
We have also offered several nomadic cricket groups the opportunity to have a permanent presence on the UC website to boost their profile and to increase the traffic and interest in the site. The Ulster Grasshoppers have come on board and we are also looking at several new editorial initiatives and welcome any suggestions you may have.
We are offering an excellent advertising opportunity at a modest cost because we want cricket people involved who can offer meaning business services that cricketers require. I have attached an advertising Rates Spec, which shows the website has currently 245,000 page views pa and we expect this to increase in the future. There are three advertising options from a more prominent presence to a simple inexpensive listing within a specified business sector. This listing will be in a particular business sector (e.g.; legal or insurance) where the business name, contact details and contact person will follow a general overview. The concept is to support people and businesses within the cricket community.
Costs are listed in the Rates Spec but a simple listing will cost a modest 75 pounds pa. The Home Page options are separately priced, but they also include a free listing so the outlay remains modest. We are also open to other requests for a more visible presence from any advertiser.
The new Ulster Cricketer website is an excellent marketing tool and a great medium to stay connected with cricket people. We will also be sending out Newsletters and can offer special coverage for products or information from our advertiser.
