NCU - Under 11 Squad

The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) has announced their Under 11 squad for the forthcoming 2017 season. A tour to Taunton (King’s College), England, to compete in the Under 11 Cricket Festival, will take place from Saturday 22nd to Tuesday 25th of July, where the squad will compete against Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and California Academy (USA). This will be followed by the Irish Inter-Provincial Series from Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th of August, at a venue to be confirmed.

Northern Cricket Union Coach Andy McCrea said, ‘the strength and depth of the squad is notable with solid competition from the other players who where part of the winter sessions and who also deserve credit. The work ethic, commitment and improvement of the entire winter squad was commendable. This was evident to everyone by the standard of cricket shown at the two recent trial matches’.
