Jeff this no drinking will have to go out the window when Muckamore visit the beautiful Dundrum this season.iav no doubt u's will stay up this year, would be a shame for the league because it really is a brilliant place to play cricket and we always get well looked after in the Dundrum Inn after the match.
Davey,
Keep practicing and maybe you'll get on the team and good to see a young fella so keen about cricket & his club.
(Better get off the air-ways now, would'nt want to keep anyone else off the site!)
Gilly , been keeping my head down and off the drink since jan 1st apart from weekend in england . The main reason havnt been on as far too many hide behind false names winding people up over usually bull$hit & lies . Dundrum have resigned last years professional Sri Lanka Dellon Craig Udugamasooriya and are really looking forward too defying the critics and staying out off the relegation zone and I for one have no doubt we can but it is as usual a very competitive section with very little between any team on their best days . PS glad too see Billy Dale in this section as it might persuade the 6 year younger Noel Maguire too try another season .
jeff is off the forum for lent. he lent his pc to rodney and didnt get it back
Think this site should be re-named 'Victoria CC Readers Forum'!anyone got any transfer gossip, has Hutchy left Banger?i hear Derriaghy have got themselves a quick South African pro.were has Jeff Maguire been hiding??
I'm only 14 Vic!
Aye Vic keep our tactics close to your chest lol
Davey from Moira,(The Waringstown man)!
Davey,Its just 'donned'on me! Maybe you will be playing yourself against 'us' at the lawn or wherever?
And there's me telling you all about our team and tactics!
'Better be careful from now on'!!!
can sympathise with Davey Gilpin - played at the same ground against Ballyclare in the old East Antrim League and dived and caught Brian Stirling - and ripped my knee. but hey -didn't do us any harm - not like nowadays with this "rehydration" every 10 minutes - ah yes - men WERE men in those days!
I have played at Ballyclare high. Had to field out on the athletics pitch, Dived to save a four and wrecked my whites!
ah Royal Gordan Playing Fields. Played there once after some toe rag had driven a scrambler over the square. Managed to turn a couple that day.
Best out ground played on has to be pirrie park or perhaps tannaghmore gardens with the petting zoo in the background.
Worst could be derriaghy 3rds somewhere near the pond park road or perhaps templepatrick at ballyclare high with the running track and long jump pit in play.
Vic, it will probably be played at The Gorden Playing fields in Lurgan.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah"
If only I could be sure who those guys are, with the 'silly names'!!
Steven Smith: your probably rite there Steven; although it would be great to get a game at 'the lawn',never played there myself!
However;
"We will fight them on the beaches
we will fight them in the air,
we will fight them on the water
We will fight them anywere!"
(The team talk before the match!!)
Even so
LPR will you stop winding poor old Vic up or he will be up in the air again but this time with RAGE !!!
Steve, that match you are talking about is mid-week so it could be played at the Lawn ??
vic jons.
hi Vic, i would be pretty confident that the match between waringstown 5ths vs victoria 3rds will not be at the lawn unfortunately for you. It will be at one of Waringstown's out grounds im sure.
