Continuing on the Section 1 topic - From what I can gather (not much), Muckamore have gained a few, Laurelvale have lost a few, and both the Vale and Armagh are without professionals.

Anyone any news on who's moving where?

Great to see the pics from the Muckamore Cricket Factory day. A great innovation by the club!

Editor.

With so many permutations on the 1 to 10 finishes in Section One could you not start a competition with a £2 a go entry fee and the winner( s ) taking 50% and the rest going to the Lord's Taverners. Could this be set up online ?
Deadline Friday 23rd April.

Re Predictions.

I think it is very difficult to give predictions until you see the squads of the various teams as I'm sure they have changed over the winter. Interesting to know if this has been taken into consideration or whether the predictions are based on last years efforts from the various teams. Anyone know of any late transfer activity?

Ryan,
I would think Laurelvale is a bit high on your list. Armagh and Dundrum will surprise a few this year. Here's hoping your wrong!

Ref: Belfast city council cricket pitches

The council have passed the installation of a synthetic wicket on the upper pitch at Mallusk twice now and we still have no date for said installation. There was also talk of a second grass square being redeveloped , but I don't know how far along this is either.

Gareth,

I was on that delegation "team" and am sitting on the other side of the fence now. I would encourage all Belfast clubs to come together to address the issue.
